A sneak preview of Cantori New York's
40th Anniversary Season
November 22 & 23, 2024
The opening concerts of Cantori New York’s 40th Season will be a collaboration with Canadian-American cellist and composer Karen Ouzounian, on themes of the Armenian diaspora. The program features a world premiere commissioned from Ouzounian by Cantori, and the beautiful Exaudi for cello and voices by the late Canadian composer Jocelyn Morlock.

A Cantori Holiday
Celebrate 40 seasons of Cantori with a crowd-pleasing seasonal celebration, featuring holiday favorites old and new!
March 8 & 9, 2025
In March, Cantori performs the world premiere of our Chorus America Dale Warland commission, Like Brothers We Meet, by longtime Cantori Advisory Board member Adolphus Hailstork, for chorus and three cellos. The program also features the world premiere of our yet-unrevealed Score Competition winner.

40th Anniversary Concert at Merkin Hall
Kaufman Music Center, 129 West 67th Street, New York
The final concert of the season will feature Cantori favorites for chorus and string quartet, including Gregory Spears’s The Tower and the Garden and Elisenda Fábregas’s The Flaming Rock. Rounding out the program is a new work by Laura Schwendinger titled Silent Spring, on a libretto by Ginger Strand.
